6/13/2005 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Randy Keely, Mike Clarke, Mike Mc Whorler I started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Trophy Speckled Trout and Monster Bull Redfish!!!
We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using live Croakers on the bottom. Wham!!! Randy Keely was hooked up on Monster Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Then it was on to Trophy Trout, from 3lbs to 5.5lbs!!!

We caught
2 Bull Redfish (one 27” another 30” long)
49 Speckled Trout (BIGGIRLS 3lb CLASS AND THE BIG ONE 5.5.lbs)

Tide = 1′ Rising
Weather = Partly Cloudy
Winds = 5-10
Waves = 1’to 2’
Water Temp = 80 Degrees
Water = 1’ Visibly

6/13/2005 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Sal Brocato, Martin Dubroc, and April Dubroc and I started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Trophy Speckled Trout and Monster Bull Redfish!!!
The weather was Windy and the water was Ruff so we had to fish the marsh and bayous it wan not perfect for Black Bay. We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using live Croakers and live shrimp on the bottom.
Wham!!!ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Martin Dubroc was Hooked up on a Monster Bull Redfish after a 20+minuet struggling to keep him out of the anchor line he landed the BEAST a Bull Redfish. We were catching the Golden trout in the marsh due to the wind and muddy water that set in on the out side. Another successful day on the Bayou in some tuff conditions!!!
We caught
1 Bull Redfish
34 Speckled Trout
4 Galff Top Sail Catfish

Tide = 1′ Rising
Weather = Partly Cloudy Windy
Winds = 20+
Waves = 2’
Water Temp = 80 Degrees
Water = 1’ Visibly

6/13/2005 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Bill Conger, Larry Conger, Jim Beck and I started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Trophy Speckled Trout and Monster Bull Redfish!!!
The weather was calm with no waves no tide just slick as a Mirror, perfect for Black Bay. We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using live Croakers on the bottom.
Wham!!!ZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Wham!!! Jim Beck was Hooked up on a Monster Bull Redfish after a 20+minuet struggling to keep him out of the rig he landed the BEAST, the Monster Bull Redfish. This was one hungry Bull Red!!! The Dude!!! Even had time to catch a Bull Redfish!!! Then it was BIG FISH ON!! Trophy Trout, from 3lbs to 4.5lbs. It was fast and furious then the conditions changed, like thay say all good things must come to an end!!! Another successful Day on the Water!!!!

We caught
2 Bull Redfish
28 Speckled Trout (All in the 3lb to 4.5lbs CLASS)
7 Galff Top Sail Catfish

Waves = 1’
Water Temp = 80 Degrees

6/11/2005 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Tom Anchell, Sam Boland ,Pa Conway, Des Fitzgerald ALL THE WAY FROM IRELAND I started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Trophy Speckled Trout and Monster Bull Redfish!!!
The weather was calm with no waves no tide just slick as a Mirror, perfect for Black Bay. We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using live Croakers on the bottom. Wham!!! Trout!!! from 3lbs to 4lbs. with such nice group.

We caught
1 Redfish
43 Speckled Trout

6/9/2005 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Patti & Dennis Heikkinen I started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Trophy Speckled Trout and Monster Bull Redfish!!!
Late Report We Had some tuff fishing days with Wind!!! Wind!!! Wind!!! Every day. We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using live Croakers on the bottom. Wham!!! Patti Heikkinen was hooked up on Monster Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!
We went to out to the centrail rigs to catch some 4’ sharks and many other species Spade, Oyster fish, etc.
We were using Live shrimp under a Cajun thunder cork in 2’ of water Catching some 20” trout on a reef!!!
One of the day fishing near Oak river catching the Golden Trout!!!
We even take time out to see some of the ROSEATED SPOONBILLS and EGRETS NESTING ON A ISLAND. The day was fish on!!! Relaxing and taking in some great sites!!! “It all Good”
With all of the wind we still had some successful days on the water!!!

We caught on several days
1 Bull Redfish (28” long)
2 Redfish
1 Black Drum
29 Speckled Trout
6 Sheephead
6 Galff Top Sail Catfish
1 Channel Mullet
4 Sharks
5 Spade Mullets
2 Oyster Fish
Many other species!!!!

Tide = 1′ Rising
Weather = Partly Cloudy
Winds = 20+ Miles Per hour each day
Waves = 1’to 2’
Water Temp = 73 Degrees
Water = 6” Visibly

6/8/2005 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Gary Vogt of Projectconsulting Services, inc. Don Herbert, Boyce Roberson started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Trophy Speckled Trout and Monster Bull Redfish!!!
We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using live Croakers on the bottom. Wham!!! The BIG GIRLS ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! For the fish under the birds and fishing in the marsh and bayous we were using Live shrimp under a Cajun thunder cork in 2’ of water.

We caught
21 Speckled Trout (Some in the 3lb to 4lbs Class)
1 Sheephead
1 Galff Top Sail Catfish

Tide = 1′ Rising
Weather = Partly Cloudy
Winds = 15 miles per hour
Waves = 1’to 2’
Water Temp = 73 Degrees
Water = 1’ Visibly
