THE DUDE!!! IS BACK!!!
Now has a new 225 Honda!!!
Thanks to Tims Marine I’am back in the water in no time with my new Christmas Present!!!
Call an Old friend Captain Charlie Smith at around 9:00 am and said Charlie how about taking a ride to break in the new motor and catch some fish!!! “””His response was I’ll be there in :30″””.

We started with our usually
BET!!!
THE ONE WITH THE FIRST TROUT GETS ONE DOLLAR!!!
THE ONE WITH THE BIGGEST TROUT GETS ANOTHER DOLLAR!!!
THE ONE WITH THE MOST FISH GETS THE LAST DOLLAR!!!
JUST CHECK OUT THE PICURE AND SEE WHO MADE OUT!!!

The water was LOW LOW and the wind had it the water muddy…

Captain Charlie Smith loves his Mirrow Lures. He has five bait casting poles one with a different color lure one each.
I was usuing my Sparkel Bettles, and Minnows.

12/7/2002 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Captain Dude, Captain Gene, Captain Cisco!!!
Had a day at the office we were out fishing in this cold windy day that clients did not want to fish. BUT NO WE WANTED TO FISH ANYWAY!!! It was off to a slow day,we left the dock at 10:30 in Captain Gene’s Boat hit a few spots where the fish were on a few day a go!!! BUT NO bites headed south!!! Now we found out why there were no boats OUT!!! But we were having a great time making jokes how three Great Fishing Charter Captains were having a hard time catching fish!!! But were not giving up FISH ON!!! 2 TO 3 LB TROUT, THEN Captain Gene Hit the Jack Pot This 35+ lb BULL RED IN TWO FEET OF WATER WHAMMMMMMM!!!@#&S#@!$ what a fight. This fish barely fit in the net UNREAL!!!
The Live Shrimp Paid off Again But after this COLD FRONT THE SHRIMP WILL LEAVE AND WE WILL BE FISHING WITH MINNOWS AND PLASTIC!!!
THIS BULL RED WAS REALEASED TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY!!!
We caught 40 Speckled Trout and this one Big BULL RED!!!
NOT A BAD DAY AFTER ALL AT THE OFFICE!!!

12/2/2002 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Darby came down with their 18 foot Bass Boat. We launched it around 6:00 am. I had the live shrimp from Breton Sound Marina in the bait bucket ready to catch fish!!! Loaded up my rodnreels and tackle box and down Dudenhefer’s Bayou we went. We made one stop where I knew the Reds would be waiting for us.
ZZZZZZZZZ!!!

15 Red Fish!!!
14 Speckled Trout!!!
6 Bass!!!

You have to catch Bass from a Bass boat!!!

The rain was light but 100% and a few KNATS. Mrs. Darby was a real sport the tuff conditions did not stop her!!!

Decked out with Rain Suits the Fish were so hot we just couldn’t STOP!!!

THEY STAYED IN THE BAYOU CAMP AND WENT OUT THE NEXT MORNING TO CATCH FISH AGAIN!!!

12/1/2002 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Steven Kruse and his Dad, were ready to fish hard, with bait casters in hand and live shrimp in the live well we headed down Dudenhefer’s Bayou to the lake to fish some hot spots for red fish. We put the hurt on

15 RED FISH
60 SPECKLED TROUT
5 BASS

Fish on, 3 of the 15 RED FISH WERE BULL REDS!!!

It’s great to take out Father and their Son on fishing trip like this one, so they can share some great memories.

This was a day the time just passed so fast, because were just having fun!!!

When we hit the dock we even had a 3 people limit in GNATS, they were so thick we cleaned the fish with GNAT net on!!!
