2/17/2004 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

John Dellinger, Herman Dellinger, Roy Dellinger, and their Dog Gillian, we started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay Due to the low Low Low Water. The weather was calm with no waves no tide just slick as a Mirror, perfect for Black Bay. We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using Dead Shrimp on the bottom. Wham!!! Mr. Herman Dellinger was hooked up on Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! A few minutes later we stopped on a small well Wham!!! John Dellinger was Hooked up on a Monster Bull Redfish after a 15+minuet struggling to keep him out of the rig he landed the BEAST, the Monster Bull Redfish all of 36” long and about 19+lbs. The Dog Gillian was just wearing him self out running all over the boat, latter on he was just sun bathing. Then we headed back to the Marsh and Bayous for some trout action with the 42 degrees it was slow, But nice trout 16” to 22” long. Another fun day on the Bayou!!!
We caught
2 Bull Redfish 36” long 19+ lbs
4 Speckled Trout
Check out the Great Pictures!!! All you have to bring is a fishing license and what you want to eat and drink. Two Comfortable Private Deluxe overnight accommodations that have NIGHT FISHING & you can catch CRABS right from the boat dock.
