4/20/2004 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Mark and Son Jamie Renfrow and Gary Bowman on their 2nd trip out us started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Monster Bull Redfish!!! The weather 20+ miles per hour wind latter in the day made it where we had to fish in the marsh and bayous. We stopped at one of my Hot spots we were using live Minnows and Dead shrimp on the bottom. Wham!!! Mark Renfrow, was hooked up on Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Gary Bowman and Jamie Renfrow were catching the smaller Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Jamie Renfrow landed the only southern flounder caught.
Another Successful Day of fishing with the Dude!!!

1 Bull Redfish
6 Redfish (Released another 5 Redfish)
2 Speckled Trout
1 Southern Flounder

4/19/2004 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Mark and Son Jamie Renfrow and Gary Bowman and I started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou going to fish Black Bay and Breton Sound in search of some Monster Bull Redfish!!! The weather was calm with no waves no tide just slick as a Mirror, We stopped at one of my Hot spots we were using live Minnows and Dead shrimp on the bottom. Wham!!! Mark Renfrow, was hooked up on Monster Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Then Gary Bowman was hooked up on Monster Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Jamie Renfrow turn he also caught several Monster Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! After all of the Action on Sheephead and Bull Redfish we went after some Trophy Trout on Breton Islands Surf fishing, but no luck with the 60 degree water temp. Another great day of ACTION!!! ACTION!!! ACTION!!!

4/13/2004 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

James Danner, Captain Chuck Burch of Delta Airlines and his son Barrett Burch, and son in Law Jeffrey Hutson from Atlanta George on their 2nd trip out with me. We started down Dudenhefer’s Bayou is the FOG going to fish in Breton Sound in search of some Trophy Speckled Trout and Monster Bull Redfish!!! The weather was foggy calm with no waves no tide just slick as a Mirror, perfect for Breton Sound. We stopped at several of my Hot spots we were using live Minnows and dead shrimp on the bottom. We started catching so many sheephead we had to move try to get on the Bull Redfish the sheephead were eating up all of the bait. Jeffrey Hutson started the morning off right Wham!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! A Bull Redfish another one ready for the Grill!!! Wham!!! Captain Chuck Burch of Delta Airlines was hooked up on Monster Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! After a struggling to keep him out of the rig he landed the BEAST, the Monster Bull Redfish all of 39” long and weighted 19lbs. Every one had caught a Bull Red. James Danner had his turn to finish off the limit of Bull Redfish for the Day!!! That did not stop the Action We Had Three Bull Redfish hooked up at one time!!! The next fish Barrett Burch Sushi a nice Pompano!!! The rest of the day James Danner was the Spanish mackerel man just tearing them up. In the top water feeding frenzy you would think there would be a few Speckled Trout nope. Another day of Sore Arms!!!
This was a day of non stop ACTION!!! ACTION!!! ACTION!!!

Barrett Burch started the morning off right Wham!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! A Bull Redfish this one is ready for the Grill!!! Wham!!! Jeffrey Hutson was hooked up on Monster Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! After a 20+minuet struggling to keep him out of the rig he landed the BEAST, the Monster Bull Redfish all of 40” long and weighted 20lbs this was his first redfish. He also caught his first Trout on the dock last night. It was Captain Chuck Burch of Delta Airlines turn to hook up on a Bull Redfish ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! Then James Danner had his turn to finish off the limit of Bull Redfish for the Day!!! Another day of Sore Arms!!!
