Another Great day in Breton Sound we had to dodge a few rain storms but It was worth it. Fishing for Snappers, Groupers and Lemon fish. End up Catching 8 Bull Reds in 30 minunets that we released, Great Fights and fun to catch!!! We took off after the Red Snappers, the pictures are worth a thousand words. We ended up with one hell of a fight Large Jack!!! and the last fish of the day the Dude!!! fish on one fight a large Red Snapper 28″ long, the pictures are worth a thousand words. Lets Go Fishing!!! 8/21/2002 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Captain Mike Guidry of Ripping lip Guide Service, LLC, Came Down From Cut Off Louisiana to get ready for the Red Fish Tour in September. We took off in His Boat after a few 3lb+ trout just so he can have a trout dinner. Art hooked up on a LARGE BULL RED that came to the top and striped out his line and broke it off!!! Art was excited NOW!!! But we were after the 27″ fat Red fish!!!
We took off to start fishing the ponds 6″ to 1′ of water where you can see the Red with their tails out of the water!!! Art Was Real happy with action of these Fighting Red Fish!!! Check out the color of these marsh Reds. I enjoyed fishing with Captain Mike and Art we had a lot of Secerts to share on catching FISH!!! Lets Go Fishing!!! Fishing With Large Shad and Blue fish.
It was worth the boat ride Look at the calm water of Breton Sound!!! Going Deep!!! and Pass Breton Island For Lemon and Red Snapper. We caught some large Mangro Snappers and some small Red Snappers. Even the Dude Caught 2 (((Tuna))) and Got one 34″ Lemon What a Day it was!!! One Lemon was too small only 30″ Throw Back!!!
To of the Bull Reds that Art Caught Were let Go!!! One 4’+ Black Tip Shark. What a day Lets Go Fishing!!! I have some openings left this month; so if you would like to get in on some trout and red fish action.

I’am not going to mention any names But I’am from Texas and this trout pulled my bait casting rod and reel right out of my hands and Captain Dude!!! had to catch it with a lure while the trout pulled my rod and reel around the bayou. 8/14/2002 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Check out the some of the catch at the dock.
You would not go out fishing today if you saw the weather reports!!! But Dirk Chustz, Allen Schaefer and David Newman Came to the Bayou Camp on Sunday and wanted to fish!!! So Monday morning we headed out!!! We started on the Birds that were in a feeding freenzey!!! Two at a time but some too small to keep. So you know the next spot we went for bigger trout, but could not go the out side where we wanted to go because of rain in every direction. So we stayed in some and caught some real nice trout. Next spot some reds and drum. They were on top of the reef tails out of the water!!!
We hooked up on 4 quick reds and one huge Drum and the rain move in on us so we went in to a canal to wait it out for about 1hr. Then it got calm, off to Breton Sound for the Trout stoped on one rig The water was to muddy. Took of to Black Bay Fish On!!! 3+ Lb Trout. We were fishing with Live Shrimp, Croakers, Mullet, Shad and Crabs. Check out the Pictures Lets Go Fishing!!! 8/14/2002 Captain Dude!!! Hopedale / Delacroix Island Fishing Report!!!

Dr. Jonathon Levy and his girl friend Jamie Sconlau Came down from New Orleans and wanted to get on some Trout and Red Fish ACTION!!! We took off around 6:30 for Black Bay Where we made on a One Stop Fishing Spot!!! Started Catching trout on Live Shrimp, Croakers, Mullet and Shad. Then the drag went off Dr. Jonathon Levy’s Trophy Red Fish!!! Check out one of the pictures of A trout with a 4′ Croaker stuffed in his mouth!!!
The wind was blowing South East 10 to 20 miles per hour But we Had a great Trip!!! Thank You!!! I had a great time fishing with Yall!!!
